Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow

What's to come is still unsure.. but what love can do, that dares love attempt!

It has been a full social week yet still the hours have seemed long. Best of all has been seeing the Queensland Theatre Company/South Australian Theatre Company production of Hamlet, which certainly put me in the mood to study Shakespeare. Cameron Goodall as Hamlet was truly an inspiration. Only a month now until I begin Acting Shakespeare summer school at RADA. I have had to accept that reading the complete works of Shakespeare between now and then is not likely to happen.

Tomorrow I fly to Johannesburg for a week with Daniel.

Patience has not been a virtue of mine.

Gallop apace! (Happy Birthday Mr Shakespeare)

I am debarred the benefit of rest. Mistress anticipation, dost thou desire my slumbers should be broken? 6 days to go. 9 pairs of shoes packed.

Is this a blog i see before me?

Beginning with the fretting.... 10 days to go. My bags have been packed since March. And repacked. And repacked. x6. Truly. I am finding a precarious balance between anxiety and overwhelming excitement. There have been a number of challenges so far... visa application, finances (an ongoing saga), what to wear in London summer? and LUGGAGE RESTRICTIONS. I can only fit eight pairs of shoes.
And there have been joyful surprises also, such as receiving a $3000 grant from Arts Queensland (thank you Arts QLD!!) and discovering in British Airways fineprint that they will still accept up to 30kgs of baggage until 30th September 2007. I have printed this out as proof in case my miniature travelling wardrobe comes into dispute at check-in.
My most glaringly obvious, grand achievement of the past month (aside from minimising clothing essentials) is this great conquering of technology. I know some of you will appreciate what an impressive feat this is for me. Not only have i created a blogspot -who would ever have thought?- but i have also put a PHOTO on it (significant triumph) AND some video-you-tube thingys. AND links to other sites. AND i changed some colours and fonts on the template.
AND... Yes, it took me all month.
