Frankie struts and frets from Johannesburg to London to Edinburgh, playing out a midsummer's dream...

Midst my last big week of work, I had a friday evening interlude...
After a relaxing day, psychologically preparing myself for a return to studying, and working on my monologue to perform Monday morn, I set out for a night on the town. Lawrence had very kindly arranged through his workmate Jay, to meet up with his mate Chukwudi, who is a member of the Royal Shakespeare company. Yay! So Lawrence, Jay, friends Roger and Chuk, and I, gathered at the Blackfriars pub. This is possibly one of the most beautiful little pubs I’ve ever seen, lots of jolly monks sculpted on the walls, and jolly crowds spilling out into the courtyard and street, quaffing friday night drinks on a balmy London eve. Chuk was lovely, entertaining me with insights into the RSC. He played Henry 6th in the Henry trilogy for the Complete Works program that the RSC orchestrated over the past year or so. He is now currently in rehearsals for Henry IV and said it may be possible I could attend a rehearsal, if I can coordinate it around RADA. Cool… We all had a very merry evening all round. The photo is blurry because I didn’t have my flash on, but is reflective of our state by end of night.
